Before adding the meat, add a small amount of oil to the pan (enough to gently coat the surface) and warm it for a few seconds. Instead of using nonstick cooking spray, use oil, such as vegetable or grapeseed oil. Nonstick spray contains lecithin, which causes your nonstick surface to become sticky over time
After each use, wash the nonstick pan by hand with mild, gentle soap and a soft cloth or sponge. Because heated temperatures might impair the life of your pan, rinse it with lukewarm water. Soak the pan in warm, soapy water for 10-20 minutes if it has burnt food stuck to it. After that, wash the pan by hand.
